The Chain of Blocks Summit in Malta, September 2, 2025, was a true celebration of the XRPL community—brought together by co-organizers Bithomp and SnwoMan, with key partners Xaman and XRPL Commons (Dolphin Sponsor) making this a genuine “by the community, for the community” event.

Community-Driven Organization
This summit succeeded in mobilizing a passionate mix of XRPL builders, Web3 founders, developers, and newcomers. The open, grassroots format set it apart from other industry events, encouraging active participation, knowledge sharing, and real collaboration. With organizational leadership, resources, and speakers from a wide range of community members and web3 influencers and vital support from XRPL Commons, the event delivered impact and momentum for all in attendance.
Announcements & Highlights
The headline of the day came from Wietse Wind, who announced and published live the new version of Xaman wallet. This upgrade introduced the highly anticipated “send checks” feature—meaning users can transfer tokens without recipients needing to set a trustline first, dramatically improving user-friendliness and making onboarding much easier for future XRPL adopters.
